Personal Brand Development

The goal was to use my ability of helping people tell their stories as a way to build a platform for myself in a scalable and marketable fashion. Using social media channels, I proved my skill of reaching targeted audiences by understanding the platforms' algorithms, content consumption culture, and short-form content "dos and don'ts". Forced to fall in line with the "quantity over quality" style that social media platforms reward, I keep my content barebones in terms of editing, length, and stimulation. Despite my training in complex more softwares like After Effects, I learned that with modern-day social media reach, it's important to follow your audience, rather than change them. Since beginning this project, I've partnered with a number of brands like Wings Up, Hala, Chef on Call, Bamboo Housing, and a couple more, as an independent contractor to assist in their social media marketing. By building an image that is safe for brands to connect themselves with, I'm able to be discovered as someone they can trust to help them reach their target audiences.
